Triptorelin (GNRH), a decapeptide, found in either an acetate or pamoate salt form. GNRH treats hormone responsive cancers like breast cancer and prostate cancer as well as estrogen-dependent conditions like uterine fibroids. The peptide is a synthetic analogue of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH). Triptorelin increases testosterone levels through the continuous simulation of the Pituitary. It reduces the Pituitary secretion of follicle stimulating hormone and gonadotropin luteinizing hormone.
